The following email was receved in March 2010:

"I much enjoyed the website of St Peters.

However, the history has recorded my grandfather’s Christian name incorrectly. It should be “Wilfrid” not “Wilfred”. Although he retired due to ill-health he survived until 1948 !

He married Olive Mary Brooks– daughter of Henry and Fanny Brooks of Hersham Lodge (this fine house being pulled down in later years for a factory I believe).
