Giving

If you would like to start or amend a regular financial commitment to St Peter's through the Planned Giving scheme and Gift Aid.
You will need to complete this form.
Another way to give regularly to St Peter's is through the Parish Giving Scheme (PGS).
St Peter's has subscribed to the PGS and the Parish Code is 170617140 and the Church of St Peter.

Guildford Diocese is a member of a national planned giving scheme. You can give regularly or make a one off payment. Regular giving can be linked to inflation to increase the amount annually.
Please look at the Diocesan website for more information.

The Office for Budget Responsibility estimates that with the extension of the tax band freeze in the 2025 budget, almost one in four taxpayers will be paying at the higher or additional rate by 2031.
Givers can enjoy additional tax relief by being more generous in their donations to St Oeter's and can claim additional personal tax relief.

One time gift

Another option for a one time gift is via the Stewardship Charity. You can make a donation to St Peter's (with gift aid) by clicking on the logo below.

Share Giving

Investing in stocks and shares is a growing trend with tax changes on interest. Some may receive them as part of an employment package or in an inheritance.

Under Stewardship UK, you can make gifts of shares listed on any major global stock exchange. By arranging matters with Stewardship UK, there is a tax efficient means of disposing of the shares without incurring Capital Gains Tax. Information on this option is available on the Government website (gov.uk) under the 'Money and Tax' heading and then search for 'Calculate the value of your donation to charity'.
Contact Stewardship UK (https://www.stewardship.org.uk/) to get the information about how to pursue this giving option.
